  12.         Captain's Log: Supplement.
  13.         We have arrived the VEGA-5 and now the away team is beaming down
  14.         to the surface to investigate the cause of this strange
  15.         phenomenon.

  17.  The VEGA-5 is M-class planet and famous for its very unique ecosystem.
  18. There is no intelligent life form but the diversity of the animal and
  19. the plant more than enough to attract many of Federation scientists in
  20. the past. However, now with this ion storm all scientists were already
  21. evacuated to the StarBase 148. When the away team were beamed down to
  22. the surface they found they were in the path of a big rain storm coming
  23. towards them. They quickly ran to the observation station which stood
  24. nearby. "Commander, I think we'd better watch this storm carefully.
  25. It's not natural, sir." "What do you mean it's not natural ?" Riker
  26. asked to the Ensign DeSora. "Sir, according to my tricorder there is no
  27. trace for this storm. It just appears in front of us like out of no
  28. where, sir." "I don't like this. It's like somebody doesn't want our
  29. presence here and make sure to keep us here." Dr Crusher spoke loudly.

  33.  "Hei! Kamiu! I was looking for you. Do you heard the news about the
  34. Z-SR upgrade parts?" A fat man in his 20s talked to Kamiu as he was
  35. heading to his quarter. "Yes, I heard that." "Well, do you know what the
  36. new parts are?" Kamiu frowned little bit as he answered. "No, I haven't
  37. got a time to get the detail yet. But I'll as soon as I get some sleep."
  38. The fat guy shaken his head as kept talking. "You won't believe this.
  39. They're going to upgrade Z-SR to full psycho-controlled mobile suit."
  40. "What ? Did you say psycho-controlled ? I thought that's still on the
  41. drawing board. They said it's still few years away before we could see a
  42. prototype." The technician smiled at Kamiu's comment. "You know these
  43. people. They think it's safer to hide the fact but actually it's already
  44. passed the beta-stage and the Z-SR will be the first psycho-controlled
  45. mobile suit." 'So they're now officially use NT as a weapon.' Kamiu's
  46. face clouded at the though of using NT as the new weapon and not
  47. considered the potential it could bring to humankind. "By the way, I've
  48. never heard about this guy, Trafalga before." Ensign Edward O'Brian
  49. smiled before he opened his mouth. "Well, actually it's a woman. They
  50. said it couldn't be possible if it wasn't her new theory about the new
  51. psycho-frame. Anyway, we'll see when it's get here. Have a sweet dream,
  52. Kamiu." "Thanks Edward. See you later." After entered his quarter he
  53. found there is a message from Far Yurie but he decided it could wait.

  58.  "Is there any report from the away team, yet ?" Captain Picard rose and
  59. walked towards the main viewer. The VEGA-5 looked a lot like Earth with
  60. the exception of big moon. "No, captain. It's still five minutes away
  61. before they'll report, sir." Ensign Ro at the navigator answered back.
  62. Picard then walk towards a Deannan Troi and asked at lower voice.
  63. "Counselor, do you feel anything ?" "Captain, I'm feeling a great
  64. concern from you." Deannan Troi told as she smiled. Picard returned the
  65. smile. "Well... captain. I can't really tell anything specific. I
  66. thought I felt something when we were enter the system but as soon as I
  67. felt it's gone and now I can't detect anything." Picard sat down on his
  68. chair and tugged down his uniform as he turned his head slightly upward
  69. and called out a bit loudly. "Mr O'Brian, do you still have the lock on
  70. the away team ?" "Of course, captain. I have them as solid as rock,
  71. sir." "Keep the good work, chief. Picard out." Suddenly Data turned
  72. around. "Captain, I am  detecting the ion storm is spreading out very
  73. rapidly and it's now moving into the orbit from the surface." Picard
  74. yelled on his comment. "Mr O'Brian, beam up the away team, now." "Yes,
  75. sir... Captain, I got very intense interference around the beam down
  76. area. I think I got them but the signals a bit weak so now I'm
  77. attempting to boost up." Slowly, four figures remateralised on the
  78. transport platform. As soon as the beaming is completed Riker touched
  79. his comm badge. "Riker to captain." "Yes, Number One." "Captain, as soon
  80. as we arrived there was a big storm as if it's waiting for us. So all
  81. the time, we were trapped inside the observation station." "How odd,
  82. Number One. Mr Data is also detecting the ion storm is now moving
  83. towards us." Riker frowned deeply. "I'm on my way to the bridge, sir.
  84. Riker out." Riker quickly stepped into the turbo lift and spoke.

  89.  "Ensign Kamiu, report to the briefing room, immediately." He woke up by
  90. sudden announcement. 'Yea, and you report here you-f_CENSORED_hole.'
  91. When he arrived, the room was already full for with pilots. "Have a
  92. seat, Ensign" Lt. South Burning who was in his 50s with a big scar in
  93. his left face stopped talking as Kamiu sat on the chair. "As I was
  94. saying, this mission is easy one but I want all of you do their best.
  95. You can't treat any mission lightly. You never know what'll wait for you
  96. out there. We'll escort a cargo ship from the Granada to the Side 5.
  97. They're carrying important research mobile suits prototypes. We mustn't
  98. let TITANZ get these units. If necessary, you have to destroy the cargo
  99. ship before it fallen into TITANZ's hand.  Ensign Kamiu, you'll lead the
  100. group and I and Sharman will keep the eye on the back. Rest of you will
  101. guard in delta formation. The depart time is 0700 hour. Any question?"
  102. The room was silent. "All right, then. Dismissed."
